Lauren obtained her undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. While at NC State, she was a University Scholar, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Ambassador and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Scholar.
Lauren graduated from a dual degree program at Anne Arundel Community College and St. Francis University, where she earned her Physician Assistant certification and Master of Medical Science. While in graduate school, Lauren completed medical rotations in dermatology and plastic surgery in Baltimore, Maryland.
Lauren has worked as a dermatology physician assistant in the Charlotte area since 2014. Her professional areas of interest include general dermatology for adults and children, as well as dermatologic surgeries and cosmetic services. She regularly attends medical conferences and reads dermatology journals to keep up with advances in her field. Lauren is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Having grown up in Mooresville, Lauren takes pride in serving her hometown community. She enjoys bike riding, traveling, photography and spending time with her family. She and her husband are also avid sports fans.
