Mole and skin growth removal may be for cosmetic reasons, due to an irritation or because of a concern about malignancy. Mooresville Dermatology Center offers safe and effective treatment for patients and will recommend the best course of treatment. If you are interested in removal of these lesions, many procedures and techniques are available and the procedures are typically performed in our office with little recovery time.

The most important aspect in detecting skin cancer is a thorough visual examination of your skin from the trained eye of a Board Certified Dermatologist. At Mooresville Dermatology Center, our physicians are trained to look for the subtle skin changes to detect possible cancer at the earliest possible time. Proper treatment for a particular skin cancer is also critical to the highest cure rate and range from various types of surgical procedures, including microscopically controlled surgery (Mohs surgery) to other methods that adhere to the guidelines of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology.
